I dare say that if Pan's Labyrinth doesn't win, whoever the winner here is, will also win Best Picture. Little Miss Sunshine! Well... I hope I'm right.

Adapted Screenplay

• Notes on a Scandal

Both races have clear frontrunners. Spoilers are possible, in fact I changed my Adapted spoiler to Borat rather than Little Children, but... to be fair, there is very little political reasoning or otherwise to give these to any but the front runners. Not that I agree with Departed, but everyone else seems to.
