Finding Neverland is the fairy tale-like story of how one of the most popular fairy-tales ever, Peter Pan, came to life. Johnny Depp is at ease playing J.M. Barrie, a man whose vivid imagination easily engulfs all those around it that are open to it. A great family movie to add to the collection next to Hook, Pirates of the Caribbean or Chocolat.
While the moral of the movie is worn out and soapy, Finding Neverland is heartwarming and beautiful to watch, and if we are to shed our usual daily cynicism a few times a year, this might be one of the better opportunities.
