Dreamworks (Antz, Shrek) seemed to have caught ground in their rivalry with Pixar as their Shrek movies, although more raunchy from a family entertainment perspective, were nevertheless great successes. And just by reading the amazingly impressive cast of Shark Tale, everyone was expecting to be blown away by their aquatic response to Finding Nemo. And everyone was blown away... by how bad Shark Tale ended up being. Despite great moments with De Niro's Don Lino mobster character, Shark Tale is completely flat, predictable and filled with jokes that only makes the viewers raise their eyebrows in disbelief "were we really expected to laugh here?".
