The Incredibles (USA) (Pixar/Disney/Buena Vista) (2004) ****Year: 2004iMDB

Director: Brad Bird Cast: Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson,

Pixar Animation Studios movies (A Bug's Life, Toy Story, Finding Nemo) are always awaited with great expectations, and their last movie in the successful partnership with Disney as distributor, was no exception. And once more, Pixar manages to outdo themselves and create another classic. The Incredibles is the story of a family of superheroes, in a world where superheroes used to be popular public figures, but they are forced to hide their powers and retireme as normal people after the "normals" decided they can take care of themselves without any superheroes.

The Incredibles spoofs comic book superheroes (Fantastic Four are just the most obvious example) and James Bond movies to create another unique experience. While the movie may have a less universal appeal than their previous movies, Pixar show once more that they are the uncontested leaders in creating PG movies that are enjoyable by kids and adults alike.
